The green house consists of a typical Venlo supporting structure with horizontal truss girders and continuous ventilation flaps on both sides of the roof, which open on the roof ridge and when open, stand nearly vertical above the gutters. The ventilation flaps are moved independently on the lee and windward sides Vertical sash windows are built into both gables for maximum ventilation. The use of a closed aluminium gutter made it possible to install only two rainwater run-off drains along a length of 100 m.
